Lily Cole attends BFI Luminous gala event

It was a star-studded affair at the BFI Luminous Gala on Tuesday night, with Lily Cole, Jenna Coleman and Joan Collins among those in attendance.

The event, hosted by TV’s Jonathan Ross, took place at The Guildhall on London’s Gresham Street. After red carpet arrivals, guests were treated to a cocktail reception and dinner. 

The BFI have revealed that total funds raised on the evening are so far £430,000, which will be used to kick-start an ambitious new campaign, FILM IS FRAGILE, that aims to raise over £1 million to help protect the UK’s precious national film collection, housed in the BFI National Archive.

The gala event was held in partnership with watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen

IWC Schaffhausen has recently launched several special edition timepieces in celebration of their partnership with the BFI.

Since only 59 will be made, the watches are set to become collectors editions. Each model will be individually numbered on the back of the watch.
