HOW CAN YOU TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR SKIN IN SUMMER?

It’s important in summer to protect your skin from damaging effects of sun, which as we know is at it’s strongest this time of year.  We all know the importance of wearing a good quality non-chemical sunscreen, but it’s equally important to protect against infrared induced ageing from the suns rays.
My new Pollution Defence Cream is complementary to classical sunscreen and contains Knottgrass extract which is a natural botanical extract rich in flavonoids capable to fighting against photo-ageing (infrared-induced ageing and thermal ageing), complementary to classical UV protection. It does this by inhibiting a unique enzyme involved in photo-ageing whilst protecting the fibers of the papillary and reticular dermis from both UV and Infrared radiation.

WHAT EFFECTS CAN POLLUTION AND UV RAYS HAVE ON YOUR SKIN?

Both Pollution and UV exposure increases damaging free radical production through oxidative stress,  weakening barrier function causing a loss of skin firmness and elasticity which both age condition of the skin.
